ABOUT THE SHOW
KEEP THE LEGACY ALIVE.
Richrath Project REO celebrates the unmistakable rock sound of REO Speedwagon while keeping Gary Richrath's songwriting and guitar legacy at the heart of the performance.
Frontman Michael Jahnz sang with guitarist Gary Richrath in the Gary Richrath Band for more than a decade. Their collaboration included touring and recording original songs together, as well as performing Richrath's REO Speedwagon material. The group's prior name, Richrath Project 3:13, commemorated their late-night studio sessions.
In 2025, marking ten years since Gary Richrath's passing, the act officially rebranded as Richrath Project REO. Its show continues to spotlight REO Speedwagon favorites, songs associated with Gary Richrath and the musical connection between Gary and Michael.
Artist details verified against the band's official history. The act is an independent tribute, not REO Speedwagon itself. Current billing on the band's website is Richrath Project REO.
